Like these but on a post, just make sure the 3 way tee is actually 45° /90°, or youll be learning some real bad habits lol.

I just install them on the plane....that way the pilot can set the correct lines himself....:double-o-lol:

Those are fantastic ! Nice to see scale touches on a plane. These are my " poor mans ASD's" , noticed them on an RV-8 , Dave had some on the Raven, was amazed at fields when people asked " what are those for... or SFG's arent allowed in IMAC" . Had a ribbon on my ground based ASD , its like your own personal windsock, but for some reason it wont indicate stall from the ground, dang it !

Dont use it anymore, after just a few sessions my 45° was easier to manage.

Actually made some that clipped on the visor of my hat years ago, then realized I kept just tilting my head to make the angle match what the plane was doing lol.

I have no idea, so sorry if it's just a wild ass guess. Maybe a stall indicator?
