I have not seen an RC Gloster Javelin flying before so it was fantastic to see Joe's new turbine powered version of this jet at the North London Model Flying Club Scale Day event. You can see the effects of the wind turbulence on this jet through its low fast passes and on final approach. Joe is an experienced pilot so gave us an excellent demo despite the conditions. Almost a perfect flight until he touched down and lost one main wheel...but no harm done.

I'm building one of Mick's Javelins. Working on the linkages for the flaps and speed brakes. Enjoyed the video. From what I saw I will only be flying it in calm (0 mph) winds! :)

Great to hear this won't be the only RC Javelin flying then! Good luck with the project.
