RC Plane stand

Not sure if I should post this here or down in field equipment, moderators feel free to move to appropriate place. I just bought a stand from http://rcairplanestands.com/1.html and put it together last night. It's a great stand for storing your plane on, very high quality. I got the one with casters so it's easy to roll around the garage. They are a little pricey, but when you consider how much we spend on our planes it's a small investment to keep them safe.

I was also impressed with the customer service. I placed my order on-line and had an email with-in a hour saying they were on vacation and apologized for the delay in shipping. Once shipped I received an email with tracking number and message saying they threw in a knob wrench for the inconvenience.

I would highly recommend this stand and the great customer service. Just another great example of the stand-up people involved in this great hobby!

Those things are sweet, and you wont find a better guy than Gene. He's good people, even if he does like Fords. :encouragement:

With a bad back I am not sure what is worse - bending down kneeling and working on my plane or picking that sucker up to put on and off of a stand.

+1 Great stands, one of the best airplane accessories I ever bought. Use it on everything from 58" - 104" planes and it's really adjustable, I have it set so I don't have to bend over and hurt my back.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks like a giant crab with his claws up?

They are awesome.

They cost a few bucks but they are very high quality hardware and very nicely made.

You get what you pay for.
