Gyro and I have exchanged emails and I have a good rapport with him and simply I understand where he is coming from - I don't always agree with what he says - but equally respect that he will put his head over the trench to get shot at by what some people would call controversial views..but I would argue simply speaking his mind and saying what he feels is right...

I am shocked at some of the stuff and flack Gary gets...I even had to remove some garbage on my youtube channel from some muppet who didn't quite understand where I was coming from with the video - and that Gary was in on the joke and parody.... -- and quite simply some of it is pathetic and shows the sadness of how shallow and meaningless some peoples lives have become - to not see that people have opinions right or wrong....has a view point which I always find refreshing.....(too many people stick there heads up their butts and don't say what they mean) Gary isn't one of them....thank God!

I wish him and others all the success with this venture...and will do my best to assist in what ever small part I can from over the pond in the UK

I can't see why 'other site' have got their knickers in a twist...perhaps read the forum title?? this is a niche forum for what we all love and that is 3d flying... the 'other site' specialising in no specific group has a broad spectrum of topics -

So can not see where competitor comes into this....or is there an element of jealousy that Gary and Steve and co had the balls to set up this forum for people like us that enjoy a particular part of the hobby..

Seems by behaving in the manner (Slamming phone down) that Gary mentioned - is somewhat childish and should be ashamed of such actions...

This site will only grow from strength and as 3d grows....will be 'The place' to come to discuss 3d flying...

I have converted 4 pilots other than my son to 3d flying...since they have seen me flying...and I am not even that good

But this style of flying captures peoples interest...and I am sure others by there flying their planes and flying 3d have also won over/converted others to the sport...so it's on the increase....so can only see good things as a future of 3DRCForums

Thanks for the support Chris, and yes, I do tend to poke my head up sometimes only to be shot at mercilessly. That said, I have learned over the last year or two of forum activity that one of the biggest things you can give to each other within the forumshpere is RESPECT for DIFFERENT points of view. We don't all have to agree on everything.

I've had that happen a few times too...when it asks you, you can say yes or no, it doesn't matter...your post has already been submitted.

It's wierd hiccup that happens sometimes... not exactly sure why? But by hitting hitting "cancel" and staying on the page, you usually end up with a double post
