Wait til you fly an 89 Slick...

ive been wondering how the 89 slick handled the wind in post stall and rollers. I think around that range of airframe is my next logical step

I've got a video of my buddy Humberto flying it on the deck in the wind... It's impressive!

No sure I agree if its down the runway. I landed my 48" EPP and 48" Yak today without issue... It's crosswinds and gusts they don't like

ive amazed myself sometimes flying the 48's in the wind. I actually like the aj yak(46") in some wind, its a blast.

Yeah, straight-on winds are no problem. But how often do you get a perfect wind down the runway? Doesn't ever happen for me.

I have flown my 89 in heavy wind...I wouldn't choose it over a 41 edge either way

Lucky for me, I fly at a big grass field, that allows me to approach to land from enough angles that I can mitigate most crosswinds. Often times here, the wing blows in from a southern direction, which gives me a "down the runway" approach.

The funnest airplane I've FLOWN was the T-34C doing aerobatics over Pensacola Florida's beaches...


My favorite plane however is the A-10 as I think it's probably the most feared plane on the battlefield.
