It was a little touchy. I think it might have just been me being a bit nervous,

I'm finding the elevator touchy on mine as well planning to cut the throw back a little. That is after I fix the damage to the fuselage. I managed to cartwheel it on landing at our fly-in last Saturday. :(

That is a real bummer. But it'll all be good once repaired.

Yikes cartwheels are no good. With lots of PM's back and forth with stangflyer I have lots of things to look at on my DLE 55 to help it run better most of which should be solved with having correct end points programmed in. The sukhoi will be flying again tomorrow and I can't wait.

I have no problem on up-lines with a DA50. Get that DLE55 trimmed up you should be happy.

Yeah I figured mine should pull harder. How much expo are you running on the elevators? I have bumped mine from 35% up to 40% to hopefully help.

30% if I remember correctly. Gonna be a while before mine flies again. Going to take my time to repair it.

Went to have a peaceful morning at the field. Got in one flight and the bottom fell out. Surrounded by blue sky and one massive black cloud came from behind and parked right on top of the airport we share with mostly kit built and ultralite planes. After a good while it quit and the sun came out. Gassed up and before I could flip the prop huge drops started to fall. Gave up and got the plane put away just as the rain stopped again. Packed up a wet EzUp and took my disappointment down the road.
Headed for Darlington tomorrow and going to fly my T28 from the start/finish line, if it doesn't flipping rain.
