Looks like a little more than covering...I see some missing wood!

Haha....yeah that is what I cut out to loose some weight. I cut sections out of the elevators, rudder and the bottom of the fuse. Ended up getting rid of 10oz on the tail. That is what it took to get the CG correct. Flys awesome now. I didn't do a very good job on the covering on the elevators. I should have wrapped it around the edge, but I trimmed it flush with the edge. That and Monokote sucks.

Well boys went float flying at a new please. I have to explain the circumstances. Buy my fuel from a distribution Depot.
The owner asked what I did with all the fuel explained to him that it was for model aeroplanes. He suggested that we come and fly at his home he has a small pond built at his home for recreational purposes. I kinda smiled at him and said we need quite a bit of space to fly, he laughed and said don't worry come over and do some float flying. Ok so Monday arrives and three of us go to to the address given to me to go float flying. Well holy S??? We stood there with jaws on the floor it was absolutely beautiful. The lake was about 250 ft wide and 1000 ft long and just pristine. It was manicured all the way around and with three large windmills pumping air into the lake. Had a lodge built at the lake for comfort. It had everything init pool table, 100 inch flat screen bar toilet, shower and you name it it had it. So we flew from 10 am till 8.30 pm and we did not want to go home. Had lunch and dinner in the lodge, man what a day.
Ummm pictures!?!?!?!?? That sounds like too much fun!

I think it is time to taxi the big Yak into the wind, spool up the big 3dub 210 and pull back on the stick. I hope the wind wardens are kind tomorrow. Been kind of windy here for a couple of days. I can handle a little wind, but 28 mph gusts are just no fun.

With all systems checked, a last final inspection and a full tank of 91 octane non-ethanol/Redline 40:1 mix we're ready to go. Boise ground-Behemoth Yak, you're cleared for take off!

Had a blast this weekend flying at NASHBRO. Made a lot of good friends and did a lot of flying. Only pictures I really took as I was more focused on flying and hanging out. First is right after I dorked my Edge profile during the noon time mass hover. Nothing quite like hovering with tons of planes in the air right next to you and then hearing the count down for the vertical drag race.

I then let this 14 year kid named Sam fly a bunch of my stuff. He was really grooving with the edge and can fly his butt off. Hopefully @capthis will continue to groom him and turn him to and even better pilot than he already is.
