Went out for a couple of quick flights last night and had my daughter shoot some pictures of the Red 330LX. She also grabbed a short clip of it on a slow pass. The JMB cans sound awesome along with being extremely quiet.

She is quite the little photographer....super nice shots. The LX is quite the plane too. Been looking at the new LX's that are being offered. Maybe it'll be time to retire "Baby" at the end of this year for a new airframe????

Your right I didn't use thread lock but always put a nylock nut on the back side of servo arm. Don't know if I missed this one or it came off to.

That's what I am thinking to. At least it came around and landed uneventful. Will have to thank to airplane gods for not calling her home.

Did the aileron flutter or anything or it just felt lazy and landed it. That's a lucky one check the rest. The problem is a friend I fly with got bad bunch of bolts and they were shearing off. The reason we know is that his leg was agains the elevator and it jammed and then sheared the bolt. We were all surprise.

I had a friend that had a mid air while flying a pattern airplane back in the late 80's. When he landed, his looked like that only the top half of the servo was still attached and dangling from the rod.

Five years ago I had some CA hinges shear off on an aileron (all but one or two) linkage was still holding it on. Only noticed it when I landed and the air pressure went away and it drooped. I thought it would have fell out of the sky like a winged duck!
