My brother and I have had an auto body shop for the last 33 years.

I don't use them. If I lived on the West coast I'd need to use it, but so far in Illinois their not forcing it on us. If had a bigger shop and a bake booth I'm sure I'd be using some, but we're a small opperation.

Spent a couple hours in the shop today finishing up the Wild Tiger profile that @cbarnes0061 built for me. The weather this afternoon was perfect for the maiden. Sunny, warm and no wind!

Unfortunately, the maiden never happened.

I had everything set to go. Batteries were charged, radio was programmed. Only thing left to do was slap a prop on it and head to the field.

Just as I was snugging the prop down.....Pop! Stupid pot metal Chinese prop adaptor snapped off. I had a couple extras but there were the wrong size or type. I could have swapped out the motor for something else but I would have run out of daylight by then. So I ordered a replacement adaptor off eBay. The new one is still aluminum but it's not hollow so hopefully it will hold up better.

I even picked up some brand new 4s packs this week cause my old ones were getting tired. Was really looking forward to trying them out.

Team FlightPower pilot Mark Trent sold me on these. He's been tearing up the sky's lately and I've really been impressed with his power and flight times.

That does really suck mike. I have that same motor but wound for a 6S setup. Might have to check the adapter close before flying.

Went down into the shop and dusted off some of the Pilot 107" Edge parts, cut out the slots in the elevators for the servo arms and cut out the servo bays in each wing panel. Getting it prepped for equipment.

Ya, the fact that it's pot metal aluminum + hollowed out really makes it weak. I didn't have it torqued very tight when it snapped.
