AEROSHELDON
70cc twin V2
Got the J&J Tailwheel drilled and mounted, and the main gear on. Did not like the fit of the spacer so I worked on it a bit. Liking it better now. The Cuffs were fiddly but they were persuaded.....
What a finish! Not too much done today. Normal weekend with an added bonus of the Daytona 500. I did however get the left wing of the Dalton 260 stripped. Oh what a mess....
Guess I should get to cleanin up the shop. Got a laundry chute door I need to refinish. Then clean up the shop from the paint dust, sanding and refinishing, then I can get started hobby stuff.
Waiting on a TDRC order for a few ubber torque BlueBirds. Gonna do a side by side comparison between those and Savox 2270/1270.
No kidding right? Have to give it to Denny. He earned that win with praise!!What a finish!

David, Not sure I am understanding. I'd like to help if I can. You say you have your ignition plugged into a separate channel that can be turned off/on with a switch on your 14mz? This is the way I have all my planes set up. They work incredible. And ultra safe. Example: Switch on plane powers up your entire plane, i.e., rx., ignition and such. However, your ignition does not become "hot" until you switch it on with your selected switch on your tx. This way, if in the event you have a problem...shutting the plane off will kill the ignition and the plane. Also, if connection from your tx to the plane is lost, your ignition shuts off. Also, when you turn your switch off on your tx, the ignition shuts off. I will also offer, I "ALWAYS" set my ignition on the same switch on my tx. Doesn't matter what channel. Just program that channel to that same switch. That way I don't get confused which switch it is on. All planes, same switch.Didn't get much "Shop" time this weekend, but since I was the only one at the flying field on Saturday, I decided to pull my GP Giant Stick out of the Durango and work on it while I was there. Got the receiver installed and the batteries connected & installed but they are all going to have to come back out tonight. For some reason, the only way I can get the ignition to work on my 14MZ is to assign the channel the ignition is plugged into to a switch. Then, I can turn it on and off. This is NOT safe to me and it WILL be changed, I just have to figure out how to do it. As usual, the manual for the engine (Evolution 26) was worthless.
I did fly on Sunday, but it was only my Kaos. It flew like a Kaos should, like it was on rails. . . . .
