Been kind of busy lately. But I did pay some much needed attention to the Pilot Edge yesterday and last night. Taildraggin' on asphalt will take its toll on sheet plastic covered soft wood.
A little cutting, a little shaping and a little covering and she's ready for a little more grinding.
It looks ok...not perfect but it'll do. I added one of those Dubro wing tip skids to help protect the bottom of the rudder. Is it going to help? Mmm...probably not so much. But it can't hurt. Lol
I figured while I was at it, I would replace those "Harriered" landing wheel pants. One was ok...the other? Quite rattie!

And so while I'm at it, why not do a little covering tightening and oh hey, now is as good of a time as any to install the Graupner MZ24 into the wicked lil Edge. Weather is forecasted for sunshine on Saturday so hopefully I can get her out for a few flights. I think I'll refrain from the rudder grinding and harrier landings for a while.
