I'm sure the price of a 5" Tru-Turn with a lightened back plate that's cut for a three blade is just north of ridiculous.That must be hard to sand a tru-turn spinner. But if it needs to painted it needs to be done. I would leave it as is until I scratched it.
It's a Carf composite airplane. It comes pre-painted and lettered. The pictures are from Carf"s ad.Man I do like the looks of that plane . Who did the lettering.
That is an Anderson Power Pole (APP) connector. I hate them, they never clip together firmly....

I don't think they "switched." My DA100 from 2002 had the same connector.Any clue why DA switched from JR type to APP? No one seems to like them.
