No plane workshop for the last few days. I have spent the last five days repair/rebuilding a room for my daughter at her house. I am very proud of my little girl. Three college carriers and a home purchased before she was 24. But I got to say, next time I take a vacation, I am turning my phone off and you all can find me in Thailand. LOL. Back to the builds on the table soon.... "I HOPE"!
Your daughter needs to marry a handyman. ;)

I've never used that servo, but Power Hobby has some good prices on Hitec servos. I bought all the servos for my 35% Extra 300X there on @stangflyer suggestion and the price was hard to beat. I think I bought them through their eBay store.

Looked up the hobby store but they did not carry it looks like it is something new the D941 TW. Found it at one place but seemed a little shady but it was listed at $157.00 each

Got the maiden done on the new to me Focus pattern plane. Very impressive how they fly. Sure don’t like to do a hammer head very easy though. LOL.

Fourth flight and the engine is sounding like it is detonating. Horrible vibration. Figured out the wing tube had come loose from the false rib. Further, the wing tube had been glued into the wing w/CA glue and had eaten most of the foam up. Without a whole bunch of effort I had the wing tube out. Got her jigged back up and with a liberal amount of poly glue, back in business. Re-assemble, thinking I get to go fly, and notice the left wing is also loose, though not as bad. Wing tube was a wee bit too long for the sleeves also. Both plugs were pushed out. More surgery and some time later, the other wing tube glued back to false rib. Not without finding there was a hole in the wing tube and my epoxy ran down the tube. :msn_slap:

Little sand paper on an aluminum tube and she is ready to go again! See @49dimes, we all have our moments!:black-eye: Haha

Very nicely done, that wing is as good as it can be now. You surely did a good sanding job on the cover plate nice work. Looks like new.

Damn I'm hungry
LOL yes we do all have "those moments" Paul. Just "Had" to go fly my new jet In between some scattered t-storms. Had a blast watching it zip around the darkened sky with all the lights it has. Even started doing touch and goes with it. I felt like a 12 year old boy again with a new toy :) until it was time to pack up (storm moving back in). It got real gusty and blew my jet off the stand as I was taking it apart. Made me feel like a 2 year old having a tantrum :dancing-poop:. So off to the shop feeling like an 8 year old with glue all over his hands .
