All done. No pics of the front as the original wasn’t in horrible shape but needed to be replaced.

Got lucky and found a nice hitch as well was a little bit of a pain as it’s a universal one so I had to drill all new holes but worth it 778936D7-2FD2-4318-9676-C9D35E1715B4.jpeg nice and clean.

Correct. Aluminum brackets look to be in good shape, as well as the mounting area for them. Guessing the old aluminum gear was wiped out, or severely bent causing the damage. Had a carbon fiber gear installed when I bought the airplane. I became a bit suspicious when I noticed a slight lean to the right. Turns out the carbon fiber gear also has deliminated on the right side. I’ve ordered a new one from Graph Tech which should be here by the time all this other damage is repaired.

HAHAHA I reckon I meant the new bumpers are clean. The truck is in serious need of a bath and more importantly paint. It’s currently blue with a red drivers door and charcoal grey camper shell. Needless to say I never have trouble finding my truck in the parking lot.

Someone else built it but it works well. A good vertical smoker is $3500 +/-, I found this one on Craigslist a few years ago for $500 and jumped on it. Wood smokers require a lot of monitoring but that's half the fun. I'll get some meat photos posted.

Yeah currently I just have a small electric smoker my wife got me for Christmas. It was really one of those i don’t want to spend a ton of money and then not use or enjoy the process so a cheap one was perfect. I think she paid like $85 for it. This is only my third time using it but so far I’m really enjoying it and understanding it more. One thing I will say I probably won’t do in it again is a Boston butt. Mine turned out good but I personally like the way I do it in the crockpot better.
