Now that my new radio is here I can get some shop time in getting all my planes ready for it. I first got the Cub set up so I could start the new engine. I must say what a pleasure it is owning the DLE engine. The 35RA was so easy to start right out of the box and runs great. Looking forward to seeing the additional muscle applied for some real Cub fun. The Extra 330 and DL50 are next. Seems "forever" trying to get it back in the air.

Never was a FrSky flier although I did almost purchase a HORUS 12. I actually have flown Futaba for many years and switched to Spektrum a couple of years ago.

Sorry, I thought you gave the Horus a try. I have been flying with a X12 for the last year. I'm enjoying it.

That more like it can see what you bought nice looking radio nice to see something other than black. It is pretty stupid to a black radio that is in the sun most of the time it is being used.

Glad your enjoying the HORUS. I wish I had the chance to actually hold one. That's the only thing that kept me from getting it myself. The iX12 case is formed just like the DX8 I had and is very comfortable to hold. I will say the 12 has a much better "tension" on the sticks and are fully adjustable where the 8 was a bit soft to me and limited adjustments.

Welcome ;). It comes for a limited time in Orange, Yellow, Green or White. It also came with a nice glass screen protector (You have to install it but its easy) and HD black switches with rubber boots. I really like it. Every time I turned it on it only took about 20 seconds to boot up and be ready. If you put it in sleep mode it is instant to wake up. Nice 6000 Lion 3.7 volt system. The fronts of these radios are actually painted and clear coated. Nice :). Wont peel over time like some of the faces of my Futaba stuff did.

    Nice looking TX!!
I liked the Horus stick tension, even other Futaba guys liked it better then theirs. I like it tight. But it is heavier than most.
