Another cool feature with the engine is because the prop is driven through a 2 to 1 reduction you can't start it with the prop but instead it is started by putting an allen wrench the the allen bolt in the end of the crank on top of the engine and the allen wrench can be attached to a battery powered drill or electric starter motor and can be accessed through a small hole in the model. They are built is a very small shop in the UK and have just never been very popular here in the states I bought the three I have about ten years back on ebay from the UK. I have a 120 in a biplane, this 90 and a 60 that I haven't mounted yet.

I got all the controls run and checked the operation of the tailwheel retract and it works good then got the botton of the plane done and partially shaped and all the holes filled. Waiting for the filler to dry before foing the final shaping and sanding.20150207_145954_resized.jpg

20150219_202004_resized.jpgOk we came to the realization today the engine was not going to fit inside the cowling the way it was mounted so I remounted it rotating it 45 degrees clockwise which mover the Carb inward enough to clear and made it possible to put a small access hole in the side of the cowling so the carb needle can be set from the outside and still leves enough clearance to route the exhaust. After doing this attached the prop and spinner and everything seems to come in line and enough room to run the exhaust 20150219_194753_resized.jpg20150219_202305_resized.jpg20150219_203011_resized.jpg20150219_203027_resized.jpg20150219_203416_resized.jpg20150219_203353_resized.jpg
