Ive had some really easy starts, some no starts. i once had an easy start, great flight. next flight, i had to spin the prop 20 seconds on a starter...

^^^^^^yup^^^^^^ I've had GP, DLE, DA. I'm most happy with DA. My GP 61 had great power in the beginning, but the power kinda died off after 400 flights. It was also a B!t@# to start from day 1 to now... My DA 120's are running like new after hundreds of hard freestyle flights. Always...

DA 60 for sure. most reliable, most consistent power, best throttle response.... Great customer support!!!

I would not use an extra extension. If you are good at soldering, it is best to solder in more wire. You can use whatever rx ports you want except the throttle port. Just assign the ports on your tx settings.

Extreme Flight 88" Edge -- now with EXP sized horizontal stabs

I would stick with the stock muffler. If you feel you want to fly faster, at the cost of wing-load, then I would go for the pipe. Odd's are, you will be more than satisfied with the power...

Extreme Flight 88" Edge -- now with EXP sized horizontal stabs

I would go with the stock muffler. lighter planes typically fly better. When you add the weight of a pipe, regardless of the power benefit, you can't over come the higher wing load when trying to 3d. I avoid can's/pipes at all cost. Extra weight, extra cost, extra hassle.

Why would you want aileron's that large? they increase drag and cause weird adverse yaw effects as a result of braking....

Thanks. I have around 40 flights (5 minute flights) and it is holding up well. I can't get any wing flex, no matter how hard I fly. I didn't have to tweak anything mechanical, just some mixing. I needed an 8% differential on the ailerons, a 2% elevator to rudder, and a 3% aileron to rudder.

My New 3D Extra 300 Prototype For Fly-Model

Also, putting a 50-60cc motor in there means you will need bigger servos with the added thrust. My advice, build it light and keep the price down. It seems that was the whole point of the project.

Don't know if I posted this pic already. I folded my stabs a few months back... Any one have a NIB yellow stab?
