NICE, yeah i'd say aside from doing the bungee mod as well to the gear, it was the next best mod I did to make this plane more usable and scale-like. Cheers!

I second all of that! I still need to get your 3D print file and have someone around me who prints to make me your tailwheel mount. I REALLY am seeing the need for a larger tailwheel now with my tall grass I am flying out of! the original one is so tiny, if comes off the rim if you slide a...

@Snoopy1 I am going to try and order an extra tail leaf as well, or make one, because mine only had two springs and while they are currently holding up, I don't trust from what I have heard on here they will last much longer... And for those of you wanting pics of the LE slats, here are some...

yeah, when I installed mine I had to do a little bit of finagling and I had to fix one of the tabs because it was crooked and broken. After a little bit of adjustment and sanding to get them to slide in a little bit easier, the glueing went fine and everything lined up great!

I have them installed on mine and I LOVE the way it flies! I can literally bring my plane in slower than my TBM and just plop her down on the gear and with the bungee gear mod to the Xcub gear, it looks exactly like a full scale STOL/Bush plane coming in for a VERY short landing! flight...

Sorry, Snoopy. didn't realize that was you at first before my last reply, because you changed your profile pic. I remember now you posting those photos of your air duct setup. Went back and had a look. I might have to do some of that as well. Thanks, man! -Clint

Guys, I was wondering if any of you other Electric dudes could help me with an issue? I am running the Xpwr 40CC EF motor with Castle Edge HV120amp ESC. I am having motor temp issues! My motor is super hot to the touch after landing and I have already lowered my settings on the ESC quite a...

yes. I didn’t like how big the rims were with the airtops. They don’t look scale at all to me, so I had the smaller rims that come with the 6” Dubro wheels. I reemed out there middle of those and outfitted them with some screws from ace to fit the width and they look amazing!

thanks! It was a lot of work and tons of readjusting, but so happy with it! You should check out the 7” airtops. That’s what I am using and they look very scale with the 6” Dubro rims in them.
