    I do have the original ignition... And have not done any modifications other than the bowman ring. Actually, Frank Bowmen is the one that set my ignition timing.

    I did install the gear on mine at first, but after the axles broke I cut the legs off flush with the sides of the fuselage to hopefully keep the support.     I have the Velox with the DLE 20. Great combo! But I can tell you that before installing you will want to install a "Bowman Ring" and lap sand the reed block to insure the reeds are sealing properly. This will help a great deal with the starting and idling. I can now choke flip 1 time, take...
