Not going as fast as I would like but moving forward The heavy brush strokes in the tooling coat and the .56 ounce cloth didn't play well together so I waited until the epoxy was cured and sanded down the defects, pretty much sanded everything down. Put the 3/4 ounce cloth on the morning and will do the same after it cures. Next will be a 2 ounce layer, hoping to avoid print through of the heavier cloth. Then 4 ounce followed by 2 layers of 6 ounce, finally 3 layers of 18 ounce. Thankfully my epoxy supplies are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I have a 1/2 squeeze bottle of Heinz ketchup resin left, should be enough for the 2 ounce layer.

Put the first 18 ounce layer on this morning, took about 2 hours, that 18 ounce cloth really soaks up the resin, mixed 240 grams twice plus 110 grams. Next layer will go on 30 degrees to the first.

Put the third layer of 18 ounce cloth on and added a few plywood supports to the vertical fin. The back support will keep the mold level while doing the the layup. Added the front support just because, better to overkill rather than have the mold crack. Both are set in a bed of thickened epoxy and glassed with 18 ounce cloth. I plan to add a few former supports after I get the plug out of the mold. Can't wait until morning to get this flipped over.
