Nice work! My personal preference is to put the IBEC on the opposite side of the ignition module for any unwanted incidental EMI that may find it's way over.

Was wondering about the location as well, you have the ignition module blanketed with foam, recently read somewhere that mounting the module upside down is the best since the bottom runs hotter. Made sense as heat is not electronics best friend.

I would move it to the other side but the throttle servo is on that side. i try to keep the ibec and ignition unit as far from a servo.

Thanks I will take a look, was looking at all the ways I could mount it. On the instructions it says to put a sponge layer under the unit I will reread the instructions and let you know what I find.

Ok re reading the AJ IBec instructions I have mounted it as suggested I will leave it as is for the meantime in do a good range check if all works out we do a maiden with the plane still waiting for a new receiver and some parts. Then I will the final engine install and do all the radio programming.
