You will be flying it next week.
I don’t think so my covering skills are not that good. But to add to that if it was not for @pawnshopmike who was kind enough to help me out With some special CA hinges that can stand up to vigorous of racing plane conditions. My build came to stop I had no hinges to continue but Pawn-Shop-Mike saved the day and the build.

Got the elevator halves removed from the stabilizer and the steel connection pin made and fitted. Delicate job getting the pin fitted into the 2 elevator halves.

It is getting close. Top cross grain balsa is on just needs to dry and the edges cleaned off. The carbon rods have been installed and supported every 4 inches. Just finish off the hatch. Then lots of sanding and filling and preparation for covering. Still have no idea of colour scheme. That is one part I suck at just have no colour coordination. My best bet is pull out my left over covering rolls and make do..
One conclusion is it has been a very wet and cold May started the plane May the 7th and it is not even the end of May and all wood work is almost done.

Ok the plane is build or I should say the woodwork is done, dents filled and sanded. All it needs is an engine, landing gear, hinges and some covering. It looks like it will come in 4 oz light, that is good. Not bad for a plane that is 500 square inches and should be capable of 150mph and with stand 10G continuously.

Got a cute new hitec charger. Didn’t come with any leads. They are XT60 instead of banana plugs which is new to me. Made my own little charge leads with XT60/JST/JR connector combos. Neat little charger, auto detects the batteries when plugged in and you can cycle through the cell voltages and IR readings.
