The postman showed up today with the landing gear from Spain. Looks good again now just have do the installation and wait for the postman to deliver the BadAss motor. Then I can get to work finishing the plane and getting it back into the air.

Generally I fly Pilot RC Yaks but their straight landing gear right on the GC line creates tip over issues for those of us with not so great landing skills. I’m always interested in finding forward swept gear.

I just like the gear they make it is slightly swept forward and I also get the extra shaped gear it has more of a radius and with glass or carbon gear it less likely to split at the bend.
The motor and the propeller they recommended for the motor arrived today. So just have to install it all and get the plane back into the air. Really looking forward to see how this performs relative to the other motors I have in a similar size.

Why don’t you make a small wedge block for under the gear. Start with 3 degrees and see how it works for you.
