Yea I had one of these back in the day. Had a 3W-106 on it. Like Chris said it's a pig. It will do 3D but it's not easy. Scale tumbles are nice and the tail group is fairly powerful. Hello all. I want to put up my 40% Carden Cap 232 for sale. It's setup for a DA170 and compact mufflers. 3D Rebuilding the Compy MX2.
The MX is a great plane. I wish it snapped a little cleaner but I'm ok with it. You will find it's sensitive to CG location as far as yaw and pitch coupling go.- Silvanskii

For what it's worth mine has a stock 3W-170 on it. It's a rocket ship and has enough butt to haul up about 15 pounds of extra pyro gear.... When legal.... Plus another couple pounds of lighting gear. I love the fact you don't need to mess with covering plus I've always been a composite guy...- Silvanskii

Yea boyeee get that thing going again so we can formate! Mine is re-dialed in and ripping now! FYI for the best bond in the fuse, epoxy on epoxy is the ticket. 30 min works great, especially if you mix in some milled fibers for strength/thickness and/or cab-o-sil or glass...- Silvanskii
