    What To Do About Teflon Coming Off of Flex Portion of Header

    I used some high temp teflon tape on my DA 100 headers. The headers will carbon up inside and seal the flex up. No worries.

    Go PVC. And if you dont make it really big, it wont flex much. Then wrap it up in pipe foam. The kind that has the slit on 1 side, and also has the double sided tape on it. :)

    No pain, no gain! Thats what I say. Plus, having the little guy hang around me, I had no choice but to get better. Cant sit around feeling sorry for yourself, otherwise you will not recover well. I chose the get better quicker route!

    I like the looks there. If the clevis on the elevator control horn only has a sleeve, no ball, then you may need the "freedom" for the knuckle to rotate to maintain a straight pushrod. A friend of mine loctited the clevis onto the studs, to prevent movement, and ended up ripping the clevis...
