3D Demystifying Vacuum Bagging of foam wings!!

I don't want to intrude on Terrys thread but I had posted this on the other side some time ago. I had put this off for several years and just sheeted foam by loading down my build table with all the weights and bricks I had around the house. No more of that If you’re going to do much for...

Terry and Lorrie were good company this past weekend. There good folks. We were able to get a lot accomplished on prep work for the Viper kit. Looks like all the foam fit well. I have a small adjustment I want to make on the belly foam as far as appearance goes. Terry and I did some brain...

    3D Viper-ST 100-120cc scratch build......it continues!

Last night I finished the H-stab foam for Terry’s two Vipers and set up the cuts for the wing. Before running out of time I did a test wing cut. Came out to exact cad measurements. Hopefully I'll get the wings cut tonight and maybe get the tube pockets cut in wings and H-stab. Then this will...

I call our "kits" Starter Kits. Take a look on my web and look at the Slick. That would be a similar offering set up. Terry and I have some details to work out this weekend but when were ready to go you will be able to purchase from the web. For the items I don't offer at this time like Tubes...

I let Terry get the easy stuff posted first.:adore: I have to do all the programming a fitting for foam stuff what’s a little carving, plastering, sanding, painting, waxing ext. I can joke about that part as I know firsthand how much time and effort goes into making plugs and molds. I thought I...

Was wondering if you have used this over the top of epoxy resin? Though I always use it over epoxy primer, I have never tried it over epoxy resin. Now that you brought it up I want to do an experiment and see. I have an epoxy glass cowl at home that has an area I need to cut off. Later this...

Tony and I got together for the hand off of the fuse that Terry had assembled earlier on thread. Having not saw the bones until know I must say Terry has done a great job. All the joints are have a nice clean and tight fit and no over glue. So know I have some work to do on getting the foam...

I too didn't want to take the time to set up a vacuum bag system for years. Know that I did I won't do with out it. Much better results with vacuum bagging and doesn't take much time to do. When Terry gets to the vacuum side of things I'll mention some places I purchased parts to build a vacuum...
