    So I ended up just using some lightweight balsa filler I got from the hobby shop. I am pretty happy with the outcome. I used covering about an inch over the seam, and then found a rustoleum bomb can that matches really good.

    I am using my iPhone. I can't get it to upload direct to the website. I end up emailing to myself and then uploading from my computer. This last time I uploaded at actual size this last time. I will try using my camera this next time.

    I paint cars for a living, so I have access to all sorts of cool seam sealers. I was thinking about just running a bead and smoothing it out with some solvent and actually just using covering so it can't crack. I would hate to get it all painted up and have it crack. Seam sealer would stay flexible.

    I don't think it's going to be too much extra work I hope. I am planning on using a little fiberglass may and then some lightweight body filler to smooth out the transition. Then hopfully just cover it. I am trying to figure out a cool scheme.

    I tried something I think Terryscustoms did awhile ago. I cut the balsa out where the canopy would have overlapped, and made it flush. I like how it turned out. I will take some closer pics when it dries and I untape it.

    Show off Warbird photos...you know you have one!

    Here is my top flite p47 that I glassed and painted. B&E graphics did the decals. Da60 for power, but it will be getting pulled this winter to be sent in for some tuning issues. I might try a da85 on it. I have only flown it 3 times, I just couldn't trust the motor.
