    2015 Sequences

A couple of other thoughts.   Learn to do belly hammers!   Learn to do your rollers in both directions (L&R) as well as starting upright or inverted. Learn to do rolling 90's coming IN  (you WILL see them in unknowns)

    2015 Sequences

Eric and Arron....when you are learning the combination rolling elements, like in maneuver #2 focus first on executing the full roll....then pause...then do a nice 1/2 roll....then pause....and then do the push 1/2 loop up.  Slowing thing down like this is better for learning.  Once you get it...

Tail Wheel Steering, Springs vs Fuel Tubing or other setups

I like the compression spring setups....good positive steering, protects servos from bump loads and scale looks.  You can buy the spring kits or make your own from some music wire and springs from the hardware store. These are home-made ones on my 42% Raven.  Also the connectors are items...

    Lakrif Air Show 2014, Israel.

Very nice!  What is that pointy jet, red, black with "Diamond" on the side?  Never saw one like that!  Oh....almost missed the Waco with that babe standing there

    Cool old school planes??

Yeah....they're collectibles now.  I have an old Cox Art Scholl "Pennzoil" one sitting here in my studio.  Love Pitts'

    Cool old school planes??

I can't take any credit for the scratch build of this Pitts.  I'm just adding some more scale details.  I'll start a thread under Scale soon.  Trying to get caught up on other stuff, like our new house that's being built now.

    Cool old school planes??

I've got a beautiful 30 year-old  scratch-built 33% scale Pitts S1S/T sitting on my bench, that was given to me by the builder.  Although sorry to say it will never fly again ....I am in the process of adding a bit more scale details to it for static display.  I'll shoot some pics and the story...

    Over-Thick Control Surfaces

Kendall Simpson just posted (on FB) a nice pic of him flying an S1-T in (very) close formation with Rob Holland.  This pic shows the "fat" rounded leading edge of the "T" aileron fairly well.

My new pilot (parental guidance recommended...)

Exactly...Dare to be different!!!  And thanks for the kudos.  Cap't Jack always gets smiles....and the ladies LOVE him .

Rolling Circle - Erik and Aaron

Hey guys...welcome aboard!!!  Arron is a VERY talented young pilot and is gonna go a looong ways in IMAC and freestyle.  And Daddio Eric can absolutely rock a guitar.....singing ain't bad either .  Sleepy and Bart are working hard to make GSN the best site for giant scale!

    Krill aircraft

I'm gonna hold off on starting a thread on my Krill until they get all these new GSN forum issues sorted out.  Right now it's too damned confusing just trying to use it, much less post a bunch of stuff.

    Scale 50% Dalotel 165

Agree....I'm just trying to be patient and see how things evolve.  So far it's been a pain....!

    Krill aircraft

No, not really, although I've had mine for 2 years, I haven't worked on it much over the past 10 months or so. I am getting back on it and continuing to prep it for a custom paint job. I considered gluing the control horns in a flying it in the white last summer, but didn't because that would...

    Krill aircraft

Once Bart & Sleepy change over to their new formatting for GSN, I'll start a build thread on my Krill 330SC. I do know that it is by far the most scale looking 330SC on the market....one of the primary reasons I bought mine. I've read they fly and 3D very well, so that's certainly a plus...

IMAC new to me dalton 260/300, just want to fly it!!!

Ding....ding....ding....we have a winner. In tail slides, it's almost impossible to tell the actual moment when the plane stops and starts sliding back. At that moment everything is at zero G. You can watch the yarn go limp as the slipstream slows down and then flip forward as soon as the...
