    Aerobeez 30cc 71" Extra 330SC

Thanks! I have been eyeballing this one lately. I was thinking 4325 which would be 220-230 watts per lb. The 4330 was another obvious choice. How much current are you pulling? I saw a few videos and this would be just the ticket for flying in my front yard! All planes have their blend of...

Details? Motrolfly 4330-400? Gecko? 6s 5000. Prop? Too much power?

To a Splendor to make it more 3D? Tips or advice.

Actually it is kinda cool. This site does not have the traffic of the "other" site. people here are only going to help if they have the knowledge to do so. About the prop, what are you running now? Motor size and kv? What size battery? Those are more relevent questions that will let us...

3D GRAVEYARD (Post pics of the mangled old bones that used to be your Airplane!)

Most adhesives are foam safe. The multiplex planes require regular C/A or P.U.like gorrilla for example (as you may know). lots of different foams out there. hopper used foam-tac I believe. Some epp "painted" with it and 2 pieces of carbon rod. Then 2 rods across the battery tray to insure...

3D GRAVEYARD (Post pics of the mangled old bones that used to be your Airplane!)

Soon as we get back to the flight line hopper throws a pack in another plane and hands me the controls. At least somebody still trusts me. Another 30 minutes or so of crash free flying before the wife called us in for dinner. All in all it was a great day of flying. Espeacially for 25...

3D GRAVEYARD (Post pics of the mangled old bones that used to be your Airplane!)

For the record, I would like to state that the yak is a tumbling machine!. 3 full turn pop tops! Great knife edge and flies silly slow. I must say I was very suprised. This lead to the pilot getting a tad over zealous and having a lot of fun. Sure does not fly like a foamy!

    Servo bench testing

Kinda off topic. I am looking forward to these tests. I would love to save some cash without the fear of failure or Compromised performance.

Nice flyin' Nate. Looks like a fun plane.

FlyMike1 The little D220 blow all the other 9 gram servos I have used out of the water IMHO. Speed and centering. About $6 to boot. The big advantage over the HXT 9 g is gear train durability.

Had a great day flying with my bud hopper. Sorry about the plane dude. Ejected pack at about 100' blender to knife edge.

Just a side note on the solar servo reliability. I use the D220 in my foamies. Now this is just a little 9 gram. They have been awesome. I have noticed the get soft after awhile. Other than that they have been great. It has made me wonder about the longevity of the brand.

    3DHS 70" Velox

I don't think anyone can give you a measurement to hit your cg. Just finger balance it and get it close. You have enough control authority with a 3D plane that it will not be an issue. Don't obsess and get analysis paralysis. Double check all your radio settings. Make sure everything is...

    Flying Withdraws Winter Sucks

Unfortunately no. Like hopper said, there was a shortage. It was caused by trucking issues. Most of the propane comes by rail. Demand almost doubled and they cant increase shipments by more than about 25%. So they started running more trucks. They lifted restrictions on the amount of time...

    Flying Withdraws Winter Sucks

Our weather is usually cold and snow, which can be fun. This year has been ridiculous. My only gripe is the money. Propane hit $4.40/gal. It is usually $1.79/gal. That really hurts and I am slightly better off than most in my area. It is really dragging people down.

    Flying Withdraws Winter Sucks
