    Throttle servo thoughts tonight and I run into this mystery box. Unopened from 3 years ago, turns out these were for a science project for my son. We used regular servos on that project and I forgot about these. 2 are continuous rotation and the other is a boat anchor.

    Engine fits I believe. Kept staring at the cowling and decided it actually might work. A few minutes cutting and it fits.

    Tony, it's sanded out fine but in some areas you are correct, it would be too hard.

    I stopped at 400 grit. Could have easily kept going to 1000/2000 grit. No reason other than I like to sand. The filler is Rock Hard and it is. And very light.

    Future tank (fuel tubing swap out) may need to be from behind the engine. I could pre drill a 1"+/- hole and cap it it, fuel and vent tubing could come through that area as well.

    Tank mount begets engine blind nut location concerns which begets proper engine locating concerns which throws this entire area into delay. The Kavan needs to be serviced and test ran before I commit so preliminary mounting then off to Mecoa it goes. I might risk working the cowl around the...
