    Invest most of my spare time filming RC but this show is the biggest and best in Europe so it's kind of a no brainer to spend a bit more on a good ticket so I can film some superb aircraft in action. Royal International Air Tattoo celebrating 100 years of the Royal Air Force (RAF) in the UK.

    Rarer Dornier Do 335 fighter (Engines front and back)

    It was great to see a big scale Dornier Do 335. Rarely modelled and understandably. I suspect it's a very challenging project. This one flown in great style at the Weston Park International Model Show in formation with several other WWII fighters.

    Giant 1:6 scale Lockheed Super Constellation 'Star of America' Airliner (21 ft wingspan)

    Owned and built by Keith Mitchell, this model took 5 years of combined design and construction. Its initial flights were taken under the Large Model Association scheme (approved by the CAA) for model aircraft over 80KG.     HobbyKing 1.2 Sky Sword EDF jet converted to turbine power

    Take a HobbyKing Sky Sword 1.2m ARF and drop a Jetcat P20 onto the EDF unit mounting rails in the back of the tail. Boom! Easy conversion. Scoots along nicely. Def quicker than the EDF version and obviously lands lighter. What's not to like? Simplest and easiest way to get into turbines on a budget.

    Hans Litjens rocks up to Weston Park International Show every year with his Scout Pulse Jet and every year I get a little bit better at tracking it. This is definitely my best effort to date.
