I used a 'full up aileron' function once on an EDF to help slow it down after landing. Unfortunately, I found out what happens if you hit that switch in the air. lol- 320CKA

Striker I just started playing with Crow...only a small deflection, so I haven't noticed much yet. How much are you moving the Ailerons up with flaps full? I think my flaps full is 45 degrees, ailerons only 1/4 inch up or so. Sure is fun, but it is a challenge (for me) to roll the landings on...- 320CKA

Here is what the Xcub tailwheel looks like vs. the stock. My stock one bent over time, and I ended up smacking my rudder with it on a landing. Looking forward to testing this one out. Hehe My stock tailwheel has been bending over time (only 2 leafs, the pics have 3?) and it bent up and smacked my Rudder. Need to replace my rudder. I've read about drilling out old hinge holes and reusing them, but I've never done it. What's the best method, or should I just drill new sets of them on the stab and rudder? Thanks- 320CKA

Ya I need to find a better setup. They sell the xcub tailwheel for this plane also, but haven't heard about it. My stock tire slips off the hub on occasion, and my inputs to keep it straight after landing are significantly delayed because of the springs. Maybe I can go stronger springs. Can...- 320CKA

Finally got my 6.25" Airtops installed! So nice!! I ended up using an 8mm x 120mm hex head bolt from Lowes cutting off almost all of the threads, as well as the hex head. I used JB Weld to increase the diameter that fits inside the gear slightly, and then used an 8mm Nut with nylon lock to...- 320CKA

It's got quite a bit of movement -- even with the set screws in. Would not hold up to hard landings, in my opinion. I may look at a 6mm bolt as well (because the Airtops come with a 6mm bearing also) if I can find a bushing to go up from 6mm to 8mm- 320CKA

Still trying to solve mounting the 6.25" Airtops. I found a nice 8mm bolt that fits the Airtop axles, but ends up too loose in the gear mount. My latest idea is cut the head off the bolt, fit 8mm wheel collars, and then use JB Weld to increase the diameter of the bolt area that fits in the...- 320CKA
