    pilot edge 540 50cc

Yes o Yes, GP61... lots of grunt on that beaut.. You can't really go wrong with any 55-61cc motor on stock or can with a nice prop at this engine size its really what you can get yours hand on and what is supported locally if you need maintenance

    Pilot 37% 107" Edge 4 Banger

Nice going, sounds wonderful, very clean on the transition, and the vibes are impressive, I'm always cautious of running engines on models without the wings due to the wings reducing allot of the vibration in the frame but that motor looks very smooth.

Big Torque Servos - ProModeler PDRS420BLHV 420oz Brushless servo!

I think Moose is just taking a safe stance on new products, which is the smart thing to do, i don't believe his comments are negative just pointing out things we haven't thought of or heard about yet. Maybe the jbeech would be happy to enlighten us on their warranty and return policies as well...

I have used Spot-On bags, Positive Snap, Pilot-RC Bags and SDS Hobby Bags, all were good, prefer the Positive Snap bags, the material used has lasted the longest out of all 4

I vote the Dub, but that is only as I have zero experience with using the BME motors, 3W on the other hand have never let me down

So just how does Aero-Tow Soaring work?

yep and then you get the classes such as F3B and F3F etc my fav time with a non-powered plane was flying close to 200mph with a DS model on a 50k back side wind.

So just how does Aero-Tow Soaring work?

Its not the only way to do it, but imho the safest way, i've seen setups with only a release on the plane side and its ended in tears :) other ways are making a servo controlled release just below the nose of the fuse, usually just using a flexible rod that passes over a "gap" in the fuse where...
