Honestly, if i were to do it again i would build it from wood. The glass fuse is nice and has all the panel lines but i find it easier to deal with wood.

The kit was drawn with a wing span of 120". Ment to be powered by a couple of .60 glow engines which i will not be using. Right now I'm thinking about a couple of 20cc gassers since it will be a little heavier. I know i. Theory i should go electric but that's really just not my thing. It has...

This is what I've so far accomplished. Have a long way to go and a lot of small little details to make and 3d print along the way but it should be a lot of fun.

So i worked on these when i was i. The ARMY stationed in Korea. I found this plan and shortkit on ebay and pulled the trigger not really knowing anything about the designer. So far I'm pleased with the Scale fidelity of the overall design and have started construction. It is a challenge...

Sorry for the delays e everyone. Had some personal issues but all is well. The wing fold got to be to much with everything else happening so i ditched that idea. Currently doing some fine tuning on a bomb release and wing pylon. I got myself a 3d printer. Looks like it will work really...

When i decided to tackle this little project I wanted to keep the expense as low as possible. I also am building a TF giant Corsair at the same time so I needed to save some money if I am doing this to both. The beacat hinge line is a little simpler to deal with so I've started this one 1st...

Just a little extra that I've been working on. I got myself a 3d printer and started with a radial engine which I still need to finish and last weekend I drew up a gun sight and printed that out. I want to also create a plastic prop hub to go around a 4blade prop. Still need to confirm engine...

Gear have been installed. This was a bit of a challenge. These gear take up alot of room. I was able to install some plywood reinforcements that are glued directly to the main spar so I feel confident that they should hold up.

Now onto the challenge. "FOLDING WINGS" Wasn't really sure how to approach this one but I think that I'm on the right track with it. I've made the hinge line and got the tips folding but I still need to figure out the mechanics of it. I also had to put it somewhat together just to tease myself

Moving onto the wing, with having the Sierra gear, the wing ribs need alot of material removal to make them fit so I decided to laminate fiberglass between the plywood rib reinforcement.

I picked up a Vics rc fiberglass fuselage with Sierra retracts this past summer. Got the laser cut kit for the winter build. I did finally start the build with the horizontal stab and elevators so I thought I'd start to share a little progress.
