    Fast is relative. You dont want a dog but an IC carb can only change fuel flow so fast no matter how fast you yank the throttle arm back and forth.

    Depends on what radio you're flying. If its Spektrum then a Spektrum Power Safe Receiver is the way to go. That size I would look at battery redundancy though. WrongwayRC sells inline voltage drops that use diodes, thats about the easiest route, the one for A123's have 1 diode, the LiPo...

    In all fairness, Soar Utah is probably the Joe Nall of gliding :) They do aerotowing, slope soaring, all of it on separate sites, it's next on my bucket list.
