    Then I would lean towards a smaller elevator and no counter balance since a large elevator is not needed in IMAC.

    This is the table I built a couple of years ago. I can't remember the name of the material I made the top out of but it is 3/4 inch thick and has a smooth white surface top and bottom, I found it at Home Depot.

    Thanks Brian......I consider myself very lucky to have a partner who enjoys this hobby just as much as I do. Now I will have only 10 days after I get back from work to get the second 3.1 ready to fly before the Nats.

    Brian, I don't want to hijack your thread but thought I would post pics of another win for Team Jtec. First place Intermediate at the Pegasus Imac contest a couple of weeks ago. I have to thank my wife for her awesome sequence calling, without her I probably would not be flying IMAC.

    I have not found anything so I will most probably just use ultracote white or just go with my favorite scheme and hope that Earle does not show up at the next contest with any paint !

    The only problem I am having is finding a match to the base color which is an off white. I was planning on covering the plane in the base color and then having B&E graphics do the checkers and trim in vinyl.

    Don't try this at home! LOL It's amazing how strong balsa, foam, alittle carbon fiber and some epoxy to hold it all together is.
