Sport 26cc 78" Pattern Scratch Build

Bartman

Defender of the Noob!
Tony,

I did that to one side but it didn't turn out that great and it felt too flimsy. I spent an hour this morning breaking it off and sanding it back down to the cap strip.

Two sheets of 6"x24"x1/32 plywood were in my box from a Fancherized Twister that I never built so they're now on the fuselage back to the wing trailing edge and it'll be balsa from there back.

Holes were drilled today for the wing tube and anti-pivot points and the firewall got some weight trimmed on the table saw.

Next up is planning the servo attach points for yaw and pitch and then the fuselage sides get glued up with the formers.
