DA blown seal?

I was just going over the plane for the weekend and noticed grease coming from the hub of my DA-85. I guess it blew a seal and no,not the kind that swims, my engine isn't like that.:running-lol:



The engine was just at DA late winter for a pretty good overhaul ,new head,piston,ring,etc.. and I know they had to work on the front end too,because the previous owner took a digger with it and never told me.



Guess it's going back. I would not imagine this is normal in any way. lol

Sometimes the front bearing and main crank bearings work perfectly right until the seals go. Bummer you have to send it back, but the new bearings should be cheap. DA is pretty good about service, but sometimes stuff like that can get missed.
