Engine Running -> Wings On / Wings Off?

I need to run a 50cc engine this morning and I'm a little pressed for time.
As a rule, I always run with the wings on.

What's the consensus for running engines with wings on and off?

I don't run mine without the wings, the extra vibration is tough on the fuse. Just slipping wings on, ya don't have to plug everything up, is well worth the few minutes it take you to slip em on. Your airframe will be mucho Happy

You're right.
I do see lots of video with engine running and no wings though.

Guess those airframes are no mucho Happy

I don't think it makes difference, especially if you're just going to run engine. The only time I put wings on is when I'm getting ready to fly.

My engine instructions actually had "run the engine with the wings on to disipate vibration"

That does make sense.

Thats exactly what its for, to attenuate vibration

Always wings on but especially with a single cylinder engine.
