Not long ago, there was a comment from a specific individual stating that it would be really cool if there was an R/C Airplane/Girl calendar. I for one, think it would also be very cool. And I would most definitely purchase one. I therefore contacted a gentleman this past Thursday who runs a very will known website, (No, not that other site) in regards to the possibility of this request. I was contacted this evening and was informed that he would check into the cost and shipping and get back to me. I would like it very much if we can get Sleepy's permission to add the GSN logo somewhere on the calendar as well.

I am just putting it out there for all those that might be interested. If the response is big enough, I am betting we could end up with an awesome start to our New Year that is right around the corner.

So, let me know everyone. What do you think? I will pass on the information to him. The larger the response, the better the possibility.

i'm inclined to not support something like that. i appreciate the idea and bobzilla seems to have a photography bug in him but the site is about giant scale RC planes and I'd like to keep it going in that direction.

for example, at some point we'd like to try to introduce an area for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Educators to toss around ideas for educating STEM students using big RC planes as a teaching aid. If we can do that and have those students participating here then the photos above become very inappropriate.

it's a hard balance for us to strike as hosts given that there will always be those that want to steer it in that direction. with so much internet bandwidth taken up by more mature subjects, do we really need to be a part of that here at GiantScaleNews.com?

how about we do a giant scale airplanes calendar and you hang it next to the other-subject calendar of your choice?
