Ultimate Joe Nall Packing Guide :)

Bartman

Defender of the Noob!
Was making my list yesterday for all of the stuff I'm going to have to bring to Joe Nall this year. Food, beddings, beer, spares, oil (what kind??), etc.....the list is two pages long! So I figured I'd type it all out and you guys can let me know what I missed and anyone that is new to big events (like me) can use it as their own guide for getting ready. So here we go, it's broken down into groups to keep things organized.

For what it's worth, I've decided I'm going to sleep in a tent behind my Suburban, use a roof carrier for clothes and camping stuff, and a hitch rack for fuel cans and my cooler. That should leave plenty of room inside the truck for a couple of planes, tools, other supplies, and a secondary sleeping option if the tent doesn't work out. Also, keep in mind, everything you'll need can be bought in town not far from Triple Tree.

For food I'm planning to buy hot food when I'm hungry and to have the following stuff on hand

Bart add a poncho to your list, or you could use a trash bag, we usually get a good storm come threw.
that's what I'm talking about! Great idea!

Regarding my transmitter, if I put it on the list and then fail to forget it, I'll have to actually fly and embarrass myself in front of all y'all! But ok, I'll put it on the list and try not to forget it! ;)

Transmitter, poncho, what else? I've only been there once, let's hear from the old timers! lol

Looks like you got it covered, and if not, or you forget something, town is only a few miles away. Bart what day you arriving?

Earliest will be Sunday evening, probably staying through Saturday morning. My schedule for May has me getting back from a trip Saturday evening and leaving again Sunday night so I'm trying to squeeze JN in between the two trips.
