LOL You must have seen a picture of me...... Old lol well its kinda hard right now as I am starting into our busy season, but I am planning on going to the Monster Bash down at Mike's home field in Eugene so you should plan on going there!! I do want to fly with ya, unless you can drag yourself up here, if you have an RV I know a place you can stay pretty darn cheap!! That goes for anyone on the forum!! You see I personally know the owner lol

Humm might see what I can plan out for the Eugene trip. Let me know when you plan on driving past my place. Nearest exit off 205 would be the Mt Hood Exit HWY 212.

Well lets see... My 48er I can fly pretty much right out my front door. The larger planes and my Heli's I can go over to the High School next door to our property as long as there are no kids around. Wont fly if kids are around. Another place is Meldrum Bar by Oregon City off the Willamette River and Happy Valley Park.

First pic is my place with the arrow. The stars is the high school. Sometimes they leave the lights on at the stadium and I can get some night flights in with my Helis. Very cool because it has artificial turf too.

This is The Fun Flyers Club which I may be joining.

This is Meldrum Bar.

This one is Happy Valley Park.

So those are my main places I fly. All of them have power except for Fun Flyers so charging batteries is not a problem.

That's pretty sweet Bushwacker. I don't have all those options so I joined a club. We have a decent setup with paved runway, covered pavilion with electric and water and a very clean porta-potty. (A must have if we want the wives to come out for the fun flys) Dues are not bad ($70/yr) and a great group of guys to hang out with.

Yeah man finding a good club is the way to go bro. Having friends to share with and a good place to take the family when they want to go. Yours sounds like a very nice place and the dues are very good as well. For me sometimes it just isn't as fun to go fly by myself not near as much as if I had someone to share the experience with. Good you found a home and I hope it stays good for ya bud.

Well if ya know where the Clark County fairgrounds is that's where I fly 90% of the time.

I've flown at Molalla and at the skynights field In boring a few times.

On the covering, maybe they will sell the whole airplane worth printed so you can just use the part you need. Certainly a high margin, small footprint sort of thing they could stock.
