Speaking of quads, Did you guys hear about the Army Blackhawk helicopter that hit a quad at +500 feet? The pilot immediately landed the helicopter and thankfully nobody was hurt. When they took the helicopter apart, they found pieces of the quad in the oil cooler so part of it was sucked into the engine. All I can think was I hope the dumbass flying the quad wasn't an AMA member. Gladly the officials have a very good idea who was flying the quad so hopefully they will put him under the jail.
Hopefully they get the person and prosecute them to the full extent of the law

Damn I'm hungry
Had to spruce up me pump with some scrap light ply and covering. The label off the oil bottle did not want to cooperate and covering it with packing tape made things worse. Going to find a better sticker and paint the plastic case. Only then can I fly with confidence :lol2:

The left wing panel is coming together nicely. This is my first full build with the magnetic building system. Wow, I am impressed at how easy and quick it is to use! All the ribs perfectly vertical with no real effort.

Also, this kit is die cut beautifully! Every rib came out perfect and the parts fit has been phenomenal. I am completely shocked since this is a Towerhobbies kit that was like 70 bucks!

After getting home from the field today I started off by repairing yesterday's carnage on my Mig 21. Everything is repaired and touched up.

After that I pulled the DA50 off Miss Moana and took the carb apart. I don't see anything obvious, but I'll give it a good cleaning and rebuild it. I'm guessing the metering needle was leaking.
