Damn I'm hungry
I just built one it is good but it is only one week old so how good it is I have no idea, but up to now it is great. If you look back you can find it, if you can not find it let me know and I will post all the info. Built the hole thing for less than 60 bucks.

Mine has been flooded with gas for over 3 months now and not the first sign of a leak. Pumps great and is quiet on a 2S. Cleanest gas can I've ever had. Except for the labeling :p. And that's only if you misread it:laughing:.

Finally got my "air horn" to toot. Why the vendor list's it as that and not a velocity stack is beyond me as so it is with many other things these days . One thing I know for certain......I like it :). It may only be a DL50 but it is a  DL50 and should have no problem flying 17 pounds of plane :D. Just one problem.......I still need 17 pounds of plane :lol2:.

Finished getting cut parts laid out for the smaller edge profile I designed a few years ago and have been flying. Off to the CNC the files will go.

Sooooo when are you going to start making kits for sale? Also I see people using carbon tubes all the time for the fuse, you should think about and possibly try and incorporate a square carbon tube for the fuse and horizontal spar. Maybe it costs too much, dunno, just seems like a good idea to me?

This one does have it. Running down the middle of the fuse is a 10mm or 3/8" carbon fiber round tube. Anything bigger than this though you want to use a fiberglass tube as they have some flex too them for when you hit the ground. Lots of profiles you have seen with a black tube it is actually fiberglass not carbon fiber.

Right but I was thinking a square tube would be pretty sweet instead of the round tube

This was the original prototype I built. You can see the tube between the color break on the fuse. It's a sweet flying plane and being CNC cut will make it awesome. The guy doing the CNC work plans to sell kits of it. I'm not interested it trying to sell the stuff I just enjoy designing them and building them.

I think the problem with a square tube is when a twisting load is put on it. I don't think it will handle what the round tube will.
