Well I found out one thing covering a stick plane is different. Every time I start to cover I find out I have to add a piece of balsa to the plane to have something to stick the covering to. This is going take some practice and a little planning. The fuselage will be one colour until I perfect the connection of to colours on the glass plate.

Your welcome. Turnigy also has a new chemistry lipo called Graphene. Compared cost to my existing 6S pack is 75.00 vs 55.00. Going to try some on this new bird. I hear they are supposed to out perform thunder power and take a fast charge like no other battery.

Thanks for the compliment @pawnshopmike

What did you find with the Graphene Batteries? Was the hype worth it?

I never did get a 6S graphene because the two planes (6S EF MXSR and 6Sx2 Pilot Extra) ended up in plastic bags :( lol.

Have been wanting to try a 3S 2200 for my QQ300 but I have great success with the two 3S 65C-130C peak 2250 Nanotech's.
I can't find a graphene in the same mah and C rating though in 3S like the nano's.
My nano's have over 120 cycles since Dec 2015 and are still nice hard little bricks. No swelling at all. Very high probability they will out live my QQ300 .

Gotcha, I'm looking for some hefty 6S batteries for the Turbo Bushmaster to increase the flight times over 6min... with my 4200mAh - which are hard to beat for $80 and in the US.

Leaning towards pulling the trigger on some $70 5000mAh 6S 60C Turnigy Batteries.... Not sure if I want to deal with Chinese mail though.

I want pulse, but they are double... triple the price.
I remember someone sharing a source for good LiPo's but I cannot remember where it was from....

There is a lot of manufacturers out there the only one that I hav had a bad experience with is zippy, the feast of them generally work but if you are really pushing them hard and taking then down to 20% or less the only battery that I found that can stand up to this is high C rated batters from Thunder-power and Revolectrix.

Well started on one the part that I thought would be problematic. But with one piece and a lot of heat got it conform and is tight along the top of the fuselage and up the rudder.
One thing this stuff is different needs a lot more heat. It is from Ultracote and works almost the same. But when they say transparent boy is it transparent. One measured the weight it is a lot lighter than painted Ultracote about 40% lighter from the scales I have.
