Hey @dhal22,

Your big Cub wing is looking AWESOME ! ! ! !. Keep up the great work. . . . . :way_to_go:

BTW, did you change your profile picture? For some reason, all I see is a little box with an X in the upper left corner.

The owner, Don, loves classic pattern planes like me so we've known each other for years. I have several of his fiberglass pattern kits (Atlanta, Phoenix 8, UFO) and they are the fiberglass fuse, foam wing, stab cores and the hardwoods for inside the plane. The Cub is wood, cowl and plans (lots of wood). I think he is going to offer landing gear kits someday but assuming mine is a 2-4 year project, I'll worry about landing gear later.

A couple of minor details in the laser cutting that have since been fixed and a slightly warped main spar (he sent me a new one) are the only issues so far. I might order his Nelitz 1/3 scale Taylorcraft someday.

I'm looking at there super chipmunk for a friend, how would rate the kits in general is it builders kit where a lot of wood cutting etc or basically assemble and glue?

The Cub is largely assemble and glue. Wood has to be cut to length or sized but nothing a xacto knife or hand saw can't handle. Ribs, formers, firewall, window frames, etc are all cut and labeled. But just the plans, no instructions.
There is something of a discussion on the chipmunk on rcu, I will look for it.
