HEY!..GET OUTTA MY TREE!
Also, once you get it secured with the clamps....hit them with you heat gun to soften the couplers and allow them to seat well with the pipes and clamps.

Damn man, where were you a day ago, no, hours. I did the silicon thing and it did not leak anything on a twenty minute run but next time I will try the heat gun first, would have been much easier. Thanks!!!

Thanks for that good to know, now if only later on I can remember to do that.

What do you guys think???
It is slightly nose heavy as seen in the first pic. The second is with 6oz on the tail then the third with 12oz. What ya'll say, maiden as is or add some weight?
I guess shoving everything possible toward the nose was a bit to much. But it should work out for the best when I strip it a do a Stits covering and paint job.

Come on guys, give your opinion. Every Pitts style bipe I have had started out flying like it was tail heavy even when balanced. So I am considering doing the maiden as is.

By the way, I also decided I like this scheme, initially I did not. I really hate this plastic covering and the vinyl striping is not going to stay put so once I can get a couple flights on it and know everything is good it will get stripped and redone in Stits.

I’m a huge fan of Stits!
Hate that you covered this aircraft in plastic, only to strip it and redo it.
But it should look awesome when redone.

To be honest I was just taking the shortest route possible to get it off the bench and out of the way. I did not care as much about this scheme as the #2 but seeing it in person it really look's good. I have at a minimum of a month, probably two, before the formers for the other build are here so I have the time to recover this one.
I have already ordered the yellow, I have the silver and black, and sent an email to B&E for the graphics.
I just need to find a way to get the maiden done and a couple more flights on it.

Did some baffling yesterday evening. All I had of the foam was some thin stuff so I took an unorthodox approach and just cupped it in the hole and trimmed close to the outside, will trim it more closely today.
