I haven't posted in quite a while, but I ran into @pawnshopmike this past weekend at an event at my club and we talked a bit about the site. He suggested I post some pics of what I've been doing lately even though it's not airplane related.

When all the COVID crap started they closed our flying field for a couple months and since I had nothing to do I built a couple of guitar kits.

This was the first one. It has a flame maple top and mahogany back and neck. I used powdered dyes for the coloring.

After that I built this one.

I also repainted this Telecaster that I built from parts about 25 years ago.

Very cool. I need to figure out how to replace the bridge on my Acoustic Guild... Thanks for the reminder. Poor guitar needs some TLC.
BTW I've always wanted a tele thanks to Brad Paisley. LOL What a neat "mans" guitar.
What you've built there is beautiful!!!

Was great seeing you at the field. Absolutely beautiful work brother. Mikey like!

I noticed you have a Bugera. Great amps. My daughter has the V22.

New brakes installed.

Little girl said "Daddy, take my picture with the Mustang"

Afterwards I got the vertical tail tights installed,

Designed and printed a holder for this Torx bit set I picked up. Front brakes use the T50 and E10 to get the caliper off.

Fun times removing the old security system that was on it but not functional.

Finally installed the new wheels and tires and got it out of the garage.

I bought the V5 because my Fender Twin Reverb needs tubes, a bias adjustment, could use speakers, weighs 90 pounds and 85 watts is WAAAAY to much in the house. ;)

I have a Positive Grid Spark on order if they ever decide to actually ship it.
