Top of the motor box is made just have to glue it into place.

Bottom motor box is in and all the glue joints and the edges painted with thinned epoxy. Now just have to glue the top motor box down.

So how far about the plans is the motor? I want to put a note in my kit box.

Are you asking how far is the firewall from the first bulkhead.

The air venting is done on the bottom of the cowl almost 20 square inches. Just have to make it pretty. Fill in the corners and little sanding and a fillet the cowl will be ready for primer.

The motor is set as the drawing and the instructions show. No changes.

Made new arm for the choke the one they give you on the carburetor with 1/4 hole is useless, so made a new one and added a ball link this should do the trick. Rod through the bottom.

Would you agree these arms are aftermarket? Engine came with the airplane when I purchased it, so just curious to know what I actually have here.

The arm on the throttle looks like one front DA but the one on the choke looks like nice arm but don’t know who makes it. Be nice to know who it is made by I can use couple.
Like the aluminum angle brakes to hold the cowl on wish I had seen that a couple weeks ago, lot better and easier than the wooden blocks I had to make and glue on.
Can you take a picture of the choke arm from the side please.
