I would like a good, quality .22 rifle like you guys. I have lots of nice firearms....but I've never had a quality .22. Plenty of varmints to get rid of my house with one.

The I'm NOT going out flying thread.

I didn't fly because I was working on my Deck (still). Its about 90% done. I was putting on Cedar plank skirting. Also my 2 3W engines came back Wed from AI so I installed the one back on the Ulti. I test ran it, and it was all back to normal. Went back to a 3W ignition (one of my spares)...

I want to say mine was 18lbs.....but I can't remember if I actually weighed it. I hardly do that....usually I just fly unless something feels wrong in flight than I will trouble shoot, including weighing.

It had less pull than what I saw with guys flying it on a DA50 with no smoke. It will pull it out though. I also use 4 2400 LION batts (2 rx, 1 smoke, 1 ignition), the Sullivan Smoke Pump and a Dubro tank and the older gear. So there is room to remove some weight on my bird still. Also...

I put smoke in my PAU Su-26. used a 20oz waterbottle to save some weight. It still adds quite a bit of weight. Plane still flies great on the 3W55CS I have in it..

Got the 1/3WM cub all fixes and flown. Only 3 issues after a move and long storage. Covering edges came undone. Just ironed em down....it's China Kote Batts voltage was very low almost to point I thought ruined. They were unplugged but in the plane. Took then out to cycle and all was good...

You can also use a hotwire. I've seen that done.

That sander is great. I used one on my Bipe elevators and rudder. Just draw out the circles you want on the wood sheeting. Cut a hole in the surface large enough to get the spindle in and sand away to the circle drawing. If you had the styro chucks you could put the surfaces in them to...

Been a crappy month of shop work. -Edge engine finally wouldn't start after years of hard starts. Found out from AI the hub was bad (bought it used many moons ago) and he was surprised it ever started. -The Ulti Engine was backfiring, new ignition and went ahead with the new alum reed...

Nice job on the repairs. When you strip it down look for places to lighten it up (knowing its slightly tail heavy. -Motorbox holes -holes in foam on the bottom of the fuse -lighten out the rudder and the stabs. I'm guessing both are sheeted foam. See if someone near you has one of these...
